Welcome to the Stablecoins section. Alterscope tracks multiple Stablecoin protocols and the interaction individual wallets have with them across the entire Ethereum network. We provide insights into various key metrics around the activity, liquidity, and health of these protocols that we describe in the following page.
Stablecoin Analytics
Total Collateral USD
Definition: Total Collateral USD describes the overall value measured in US Dollars that is deposited as collateral with the Stablecoin protocol.
Type: Float
Value Range: [0, ∞)
Total Debt Base
Definition: Total Debt Base describes the outstanding debt, i.e., the amount of minted Stablecoin tokens from the respective protocol.

Value Range: [0, ∞)

Unique Wallets
Definition: Unique wallets represent the number of unique wallets that interacted with the respective Stablecoin protocol
Value type: integer
Value range: [0, ∞)
Health Factor
Definition: The health factor of a protocol in our product means the weighted average of all wallets given a protocol. This weighted average is computed using the wallets that have any debt and the coefficients are based on the debt of the wallet.
Value type: float
Value range: ideally [1, ∞), however, in a broken market it can be [0, 1] but there is no such case so far.
Liquidity Efficiency
Definition: The liquidity efficiency describes how efficient the stablecoin protocol is in using the deployed collateral, e.g., whether it uses the surplus collateral. A higher liquidity efficiency indicates less idly sitting capital. On the flip side, this poses a higher risk should there be a drastic price drop in the collateral value.
